The Big Apple, Basically

Oh, how would I love to visit New York. New York is one of those destination everyone has on their bucket list and it is certainly on mine. To walk around Central Park, feel the wind at the top of the Empire State Building and squeeze through the hustle and bustle of Times Square. I feel like New York is very romanticized by most American shows and by Taylor Swift as well, but then I can’t blame them, seems like New York is a pretty jungle where dreams are made of.

Speaking of busy, when I’m busy and still want to look fresh ‘neath the sun, my go to piece of clothing will always be white pants. It’s quite dangerous for clumsy people like me but it’s always flattering, so I’ll take that kind of fashion risk. What is your go-to piece?

Rip Your Heart Out

The 80’s called and they want their fashion statements back. Have you guys noticed that everything is just being recycled nowadays. Not that I’m complaining, ripped boyfriend jeans (boyfriend jeans that are ripped, not ripped boyfriend made into jeans) seems very comfortable. I’ve never owned one before because it just didn’t make sense to me why something ripped is worth just as much as your regular ol’ jeans. But hey! Adam Levine buys thousand dollar ripped white shirts… so.

Since it’s getting warmer by the day, I feel like I’m being fried whenever I go under the sun, I just want to wear something simple for less hassle. But when wearing basic colors like this gray top and jeans, we can always zhuzh it up by pairing it with something bright. This Charles & Keith bag is just the definition of summer and I’m definitely in love with this SM Parisian blue strappy heels. Both gorgeous, both turn drab to fab.

Pin Drop

With all the summer whites and blues I’ve been having lately, I’d want to have some laid back outfits this season as well. Currently been obsessing over tees with cute words. I feel like it takes basic to a higher level without making it beyond simple.

I’ve only been one out of 6 listed in this tee, been craving travel outside the country for months now. I wish I could just spin the globe and drop a pin and go to wherever that may be. Wishing for my travel buddy to be nearer. Where are you going this summer? Planning for a 12-hour plane ride trip or an overnight getaway?

Alona

We are all craving for that fine white sand underneath our toes, where the seas meet the skies and everything is just as blue as it can be. Whilst everyone was flying to La Boracay, I spent a couple of days in Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol which is funnily now dubbed as “Little Boracay”.  Alona defines summer perfectly. My photo diary from this trip will be up in the next few days but for now, this is what I wore to Alona.

After my morning swim, how can I pass up a little outfit of the day shoot when everything around me is sparkling. Summer is the season when we can all be stunning sans make up, sexy without the curls and gorgeous as our skin kisses the sun. Be playful with your summer outfits and don’t mind showing off a little bit of skin.
